Biscuit Jar Brownies

Why choose your favourite biscuit when you can have them all – and on top of a gooey brownie? Star baker please!

Serves 12 people


  • 100g all-purpose flour
  • 150g sugar
  • 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 120g unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 'Big N Free' Free Range Ethical Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Assorted biscuits, to decorate


  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan. Lightly grease a 13 x 33cm baking tray and line with baking paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together with an electric mixer until just combined.
  3. Transfer the brownie batter to your prepared baking tray and arrange your biscuits over the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the brownies comes out clean.
  4. Cool to room temperature before slicing to serve.
